According to Tejarat News, Omid Qalibaf, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Safety, announced this month that the price of 50 kilos of cement in the commodity exchange is 36 thousand tomans. He also announced the approved price of each bag of cement in the market at 52 thousand tomans.

But contrary to Qalibaf’s statements, cement is still offered at higher rates. For example, type 2 cement, a 50-kilogram packet of Abike cement, is available in retail stores today, August 11, 1401, at a price of 65 thousand tomans. Although this figure is far from the ceiling of 100,000 tomans, it is still 13,000 tomans away from the mandated rate and 29,000 tomans from the commodity exchange rate.

He explained: The power cut had created turbulence in the market. Therefore, some sellers have bought this product expensively. Many of those who set a higher price are those who previously bought cement at a high price and do not want to sell it cheaply.

He added: There will definitely be no problem with electricity. Because we have made good arrangements with the Ministry of Energy. All factories are in production.
