The head of the country’s veterinary organization said: With the follow-ups we have done, the export of all poultry products to Iraq has been freed.
According to Tejarat News, the head of the country’s veterinary organization announced the lifting of the ban on the export of poultry products to Iraq.
ISNA quoted from the information base of the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture, Seyyed Mohammad Aghamiri announced this and said: After 6 years when the export of chicken, chicken feathers, eggs, day-old chicks and fertilized eggs to Iraq was banned, with follow-ups which we have done, the export of all poultry products to Iraq has been freed.
He cited the health of the country’s poultry production environment as the reason for lifting the ban and said: Fortunately, with the efforts of my colleagues, our country is green.
Referring to the successful containment of super acute bird flu in the country, Aghamiri said: We are looking to completely eradicate five diseases and this requires the participation and help of all institutions.
In another part of this program, the head of the country’s veterinary organization, referring to the outbreak of Crimean Congo fever or CCHF in recent months, said: “We have formed a central headquarters to deal with this disease, and the increase in the number of infected people has slowed down a lot.”
He said about the latest statistics of Crimean-Congo fever sufferers: We have nearly 60 people suffering from this disease and unfortunately five people have died due to this disease.
