Chinese new year is known as the most important Chinese festival with a history of more than 4000 nese Spring Festival, beginning from the eve of the festival. On this day, Chinese people do not talk about the previous year, but about the new year and a new beginning. Also, on this day, the Chinese go to visit the elders of the family. The lion dance is one of the oldest Chinese rituals that is performed on this day. The celebration lasts for 15 days and continues until the Lantern Festival. The climax of the whole festival is Chinese New Year’s Eve and the first day of the Lunar New Year. The fifteenth day is called the lantern festival, which is the end of the festivities.

Preparation for the New Year ceremony in China, like in Iran, starts with moving the house to start the New Year in a clean house and away from pollution; Because the Chinese believe that no matter how they are at the beginning of the year, the same situation will continue until the end of the year, and that is why they celebrate the new year by wearing new clothes with happy colors.

These days, all the streets of the country are filled with red decorations. Red lanterns and pendants can be seen in all cities because the color red is a symbol of good luck. The shopping market is very busy these days, because Chinese people, in addition to buying new clothes and new household items, also buy gifts and souvenirs for each other and give flowers to each other.
